You probably read the title of this post and thought OMG how could this be possible? How could the amazing Kylie Cosmetics disappoint? Well let me tell ya!
I first ordered from Kylie Cosmetics when she released her Birthday collection a little over a year ago. I was so excited because I personally love the Kardashians! I watch the show every Sunday, follow them all on social media and I am just so obsessed with everything they do. Also how could you not want beauty products that were created by the family who is known for their perfect makeup? So after all this hype and excitement my first order arrived and the products were great! It did take a while to come but I wasn’t surprised because at the time it was her first big release and you can’t be perfect right away! Then I placed my second order….
The second ordered I placed was the Christmas Minis along with a Lip Kit in the shade Moon. It took me two tries to actually get a Christmas Mini set because they just kept selling out. Once I was actually putting in my credit card info when I got the little message saying something in my cart sold out… So right there was a starting point to my disappointment. Like why would you even do that? But any who!
After I finally managed to get one I was so excited once again, for some reason I really wanted this mini kit! Maybe it was because at one time I couldn’t have it, which only made me want it more! It took a few days before I got a shipping confirmation email with a tracking code. I honestly would check everyday to see where it was, but after a week or so I noticed nothing was happening. Right away I emailed Kylie Cosmetics customer care to find out why my package had never left the post office.They sent back a little response telling me to wait a bit longer because it’s Christmas and as expected, they are busy. I total understood because hey, Christmas is the busiest time of year!
So I waited and waited, and finally after Christmas I contacted them again since my tracking still said it hadn’t left. The email I got back told me they would look into it! Within a few days I got a email back saying my order must have gotten lost in the mail… like really?! My tracking actually said it never left, but sure! I emailed back asked for a refund because I had already waited so long. I got a response letting me know a new one was on it’s way and they didn’t really give me an option for my money back. That day I got a new tracking and sure enough after another 3 weeks I finally got my order. Want to know the best part…? The lip kit I was so excited to receive came in a ripped package.. and I actually haven’t even used them. I was just so disappointed!
And now the last and final order I just received…
I dont know what I was thinking to be completely honest, did I not remember what happened the last time I placed an ordered?! I guess I gave them the benefit of the doubt and I placed my most recent order, to be exact I placed my order on April 25th. It was the release of the KKW lip kit set, Kim is my favourite sister so it was just something I had to have, and away I went placing my order!
Today I just received my order, 23 days later… I did not get a confirmation email, I did not get a tracking number, I did not get anything! Although, on April 25th my credit card was charged. I just feel that is really odd when my order was not shipped until ten days later. It’s the only company that has done that to me and I order from a variety of different stores as well as places in the world. I actually emailed them a week ago asking where my tracking number or confirmation email was because I was getting nervous, I didn’t want what happened last time to happen again. They did respond and asked for all my info because they couldn’t find anything. After a few days of waiting I got an email saying the email address I used was entered wrong. I found this a little weird because it’s the same email I used on the last two orders. I hadn’t changed anything because I had already made an account, but hey! Finally, I got my package in 23 days but felt like 23 months!
Crazy to think that a company that has products that sell out in minutes, still hasn’t figured this customer service thing out. Sephora, MAC, Ulta you name it, and everyone of them can figure this out. Even smaller companies are doing better! Maybe not everyone has had the same difficulty as me but I just want it to be out there for people to know that this can happen. When paying top dollar for product as well as shipping, the last thing you want is to be disappointed! Especially when products from Kylie Cosmetics come with so much excitement and hype!
For the products I just received I will be doing a review because to be honest, she may have horrible service but the products are not that bad!
